  • Excelsior's Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) systems are utilized to increase process efficiency, reduce carbon footprint and produce "green power" from industrial emitters. The systems are designed to be easily portable and scalable to optimize for a variety of waste heat sources including combustion processes, geothermal processes, organic waste processes (Bio Gas), Industrial Stack Gas, etc...
  • The systems will improve process efficiency by as much as 20-30%. WHR systems are able to capture heat from a process with as little as a 55°C temperature differential between the heat source and the working fluid. The system is modular and mobile. The turbine is highly efficient (up to 95%). The WHR system is built for a long life, unmanned operations and without interference with the primary heat source. Recovered power generated can be used as carbon credits and is considered clean electricity usually priced as a premium on the power market or the power can be used locally within the facility process.
